This is a Covid-cautious event. Please help us keep our communities safer by joining us in wearing high quality KN-95 masks and rapid testing the morning of the event. Tests and masks provided as needed.
Our clinics have moved to our 906 Broad Street location; our new space is cozy and intimate.
Clinic sessions are offered fully clothed for your comfort in our community setting.
All clinic sessions are offered on a sliding scale of $55-$100, with a few community funded spots available. See Payment below for more details.
If available dates / times are not shown in our calendar using the booking button below, this means we are fully booked. Please add yourself to our waitlist! It is common for last minute spots to open up.
We offer a sliding scale of $55-100, no justification needed. If the base of our sliding scale is not affordable, please explore our community fund.
You'll pay at the start of your session, choosing the amount that feels right for you. We accept cash, checks, and cards.
Our minimum payment of $55 supports a basic living wage for our team as defined by the Durham Living Wage Project. Additional income is distributed between our team and business, increasing our ability to support more accessible healing work long term.
5% of your payment automatically goes into our community fund to support members of our community for whom $55 is not affordable. We happily accept direct donations to this fund.

Our clinic team is a magical group of humans including skilled bodyworkers and healers, yoga instructors, energy workers, and activists. We work together to care for you in each clinic, amplifying what we could do alone.

Arrive 10 minutes early in comfortable, clean clothes (soft, stretchy or loose, lounge-comfy.) When planning your day, allow about 75 minutes total.
You'll be welcomed by a Durham Bodywork team member. Here, you'll complete payment and an intake form, and settle in before your massage therapist greets you at your session start time. If you are a new client, please consider completing your health history form before arriving.
Your massage therapist will spend time collaborating with you to determine an intention and treatment plan based on your current needs. We encourage you to explore what might support you on the day of your session.
Your therapist will use intentional, skilled touch to support your goals. Your session is clothed for comfort and mobility, and you will receive about 30-35 minutes of massage.
Your therapist will guide your transition to Integrative Rest, where you will join other clients and settle in with bolsters, pillows, and blankets. The integration guide will care for the entire group for the remaining 20-25 minutes of your session. They will ensure your comfort and offer a simple guided practice to assist you in relaxing and absorbing all the benefits of your bodywork.
The integration guide will suggest gentle movements to shift you up and out of stillness. You'll fill out a brief outtake form to compare how you feel after your session to when you arrived. And you'll have a chance to go slow, sit for awhile, ask any questions you may have, and schedule your next session.
