John is a natural and intuitive bodywork practitioner in the art of traditional Thai massage with a unique journey into bodywork, transitioning from a 25-year career in IT. His passion for healing arts began in 2018 at The Healing Arts and Massage School in Raleigh, NC, where he discovered Thai massage. Licensed in 2020, he deepened his expertise through extensive training, including a February 2023 Study Abroad program. During this immersive experience in Thailand, he expanded his education at ITM, OmSala, and Boonthumme Thai Massage school, studying under the renowned instructor Pichest Boonthumme and his son, Aon Boonthumme.

He brings his innate ability to facilitate healing through gentle and deep techniques, natural energy work, and calming presence, while deeply respecting and honoring the rich lineage and tradition of the Thai healing arts. In addition to Thai massage, he is a certified Yin yoga instructor and appreciates the deep complementarity between the two practices for holistic well-being. John lives in Durham, NC, with his family.
